When a project looks feasible and it is lifted to a next step for implementation, a partner or several partners are approached to carry out the project. In some cases EMF remains connected on a distance.

Apart from project developments, EMF has over time published a variety of articles in professional journals and delivered presentations in congresses. EMF also took part in internal corporate committees on sustainable development and water, such as with Rabobank (1997/8) and Unilever (1998/1999)

EMF initiatives usually require seed money in order to create the environment for initiating and catalyzing social, commercial and technological innovations

So far, EMF has been able to finance these initiatives through donors and cash flow generating activities connected with project development.

In the coming years new innovative projects will be developed and cash flow from donors is required for seed money. Subsequently projects will be eventually self supportive.
