Fresh Water Innovators Network (FWIN)
In 2003 EMF started coordinating and facilitating promotion and market entry of simple, small scale stand alone, solar/wind energy based desalination and condensating technologies that provide fresh water and sanitation for rural areas and islands.
FWIN has linked up with organisations such as Aqua for All in order to fulfil the water need in developing countries.

The activities of FWI were integrated into the Micro Water Facility (www.microwaterfacility.org) in 2007.
