A 4 part TV documentary series 'Het Blauwe Goud' (The Blue Gold), on problems and solutions on freshwater shortages in the developing world has been aired on Dutch TV by NCRV in June 2008. The initiative for this documentary was taken by EMF, including selecting the projects and an interview with the Prince Willem Alexander.

In October 2007 the book 'Water, the Blood of the Earth', subtitled: 'Exploring Sustainable Water Management for the New Millennium', by the Chairman of EMF has been published by Cosimo Books, New York (www.cosimobooks.com).
