Board > The following people are members of the board of EMF:
| D.J.M.G. Baron van Slingelandt, Rik van Slingelandt studied Business Economics at the University of Groningen with special emphasis on management and organisation aspects. After he had filled various positions with De Nationale Investeringsbank N.V., The Hague, Rijn Schelde Verolme, Rotterdam, Verolme Estaleiros Reunidos do Brasil, Rio de Janeiro and Rodamco, Rotterdam, he was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of the International Division of Rabobank Nederland, Utrecht in February 1989. In February 1996 he was appointed Member of the Executive Board of Rabobank Nederland and Chairman of the Managing Board of Rabobank International (as per July 2000). He retired as of July 2006. |
| Dr. J.P.R.A. Sweerts Jean-Pierre Sweerts is the founder of Linius Capital. Linius Capital arranges financing and gives business development support to clean energy and clean technology projects, companies and funds. Before he was managing director of DIF Renewable Energy; an investment fund in renewable energy assets for institutional investors. He was head sustainable development of Rabobank from 2002 until 2007. He joinded Rabobank, to build a position in the water sector, in 1998 after managerial, business development and consultancy occupations ,world-wide, at Delft Hydraulics. He is chairman of the board of DOB Foundation. He has an IEP from INSEAD. He is qualified as PhD in Mathematics and Natural Sciences and studied Biology at the University of Amsterdam and the Freshwater Institute in Canada. |

J.A.J. Vet Msc Jan Vet is Senior Client Partner in the Korn/Ferry International Amsterdam office and is a member of the Global Financial Market, focusing on senior-level client work in the financial services and real estate areas. Previously he was based at the Firm's headquarters office in Los Angeles. Before this, Jan Vet served as assistant to Korn/Ferry's chairman and participated in international business development and strategic planning initiatives. Before joining Korn/Ferry Jan worked for Rodamco in The Netherlands and Paribas Capital Markets in London. Jan holds a master's degree in finance and real estate investment analysis from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, USA, and a bachelor's degree in economics and art history from the University of Notre Dame, USA. |
| A.D. Stikker MBA, chairman Derk Stikker has, after obtaining his MBA degree in Finance at the George Washington University in Washington DC and after many years of living abroad, moved back to The Netherlands in 1991, to work for the Oranje-Nassau Group. Thereafter he served as CFO of IMC, a Dutch financial institution. After taking a sabbatical he is now active as CFO of RPG RE, the single biggest player in residential real estate in the Czech Republic. |
Advisory Board > The following people are members of the Advisory Board
| Ir A. Stikker MA Allerd Stikker is a retired industrialist and served on the executive board of AKZO from 1969 – 1973 and as CEO of RSV from 1973 – 1983. He holds an MSc degree in chemical engineering from Technical University Delft and a MA degree in theology from Leeds University. During his active career he served on various boards as a non executive director, such as AMRO Bank, Heineken NV and Rothmans International. He created the not-for-profit Ecological Management Foundation in 1990, promoting sustainable practice in business. In the last 10 years the emphasis has been on addressing the world water scarcity problems. He published a number of books on ecological issues and most recently in 2007 on water management. |

F. van der Have Frits van der Have holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management and is co-founder, former general partner and now venture partner of LSP. LSP currently has five VC biotech funds and approx. Eur 500 mln under management. In 1997 he also co-founded Euroventures Ukraine which currently manages two private equity funds in Ukraine where he still is a member of the partnership. In 2007 he joined TBL Mirror Fund, an small investment fund for East Africa, as investor and Board member. During the same year he co-founded e2 Cleantech Fund, an investment fund for early stage cleantech technologies, where he is an investor and member of the Investment Cie. At the end of 2007 he joined the DOB foundation, a large private charity active in Africa, as their investment advisor. |
